Today is my last night in Arizona.
I just landed my dream internship as a photojournalist. I have friends, money and lots of cute boys waiting for me in California. My life will be where I need and want it to be for the first time in my life. All of my dreams are coming true. Why am I so sad then? I’ve worked so hard to be here, and now all of my hard work has paid off. I just can’t shake this feeling of being scared and nervous about leaving this behind. Arizona is my safety net and I’m cutting all the strings right now. Head held high and moving forward, time to wash this bittersweet taste with the sweet taste of success.
Timothy Leary is my idol for sure.

It’s as though the age in his skin tells a story too incredible for our brain to comprehend. Like the mountains in the desert and the sand in the ocean, with age, erosion has occurred. Quite beautiful if you ask me. Far more intriguing than the not so complex texture of youth.
